The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the man who died rafting on the American River Sunday.

Giao Phong Quoc Doan, 40, of Roseville, fell off a raft at the San Juan rapids on the American River in Rancho Cordova.

Doan’s body was recovered about 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
