Sacramento Fire crews were called about 11 a.m. to a small grass fire Monday along the American River Parkway.

The fire, which broke out on Highway 160 and Northgate Boulevard near a wooden trestle that firefighters were working to protect.

The fire did not cause any traffic delays in the area and consumed about two acres
